Art
We aim to give every child the opportunity to experience different approaches to Art, Craft and Design, either as an individual or as a member of a group.
We encourage the children to be creative and imaginative, at the same time,
teaching them the practical skills for this, using a variety of tools, materials and
techniques, (not forgetting safety).
In addition to this, we hope to introduce the children to work of artists, past and present, through artefacts or visits to Art Galleries and Museums. As a result we hope they will also be sensitive to styles of art from different cultures.
