Curriculum Science
Science
Our science curriculum is well established at St. Joseph's. We have a whole school policy to ensure
progression and plan our work in Key Stage groups.
At Key Stage 1 the work is topic based with much emphasis being placed on developing
the children's exploratory and practical skills.
Science is taught as a discrete subject at Key Stage 2. Children?s practical skills are encouraged.
We are well resourced for providing National Curriculum Science.
The children are assessed at the end of Key Stage 2 using National Standards.
